3 Ethereum from NFT sales donated to cancer research by Kingly|Clark and French artists Mrzyk & Moriceau
French artists Mrzyk and Moriceau have recently released a collection of 100 NFTs to art lovers across the globe, and will be donating over 10% of their gross profits to breast and prostate cancer research at Paris’s Gustave Roussy Cancer Campus.
French duo Mrzyk & Moriceau began building a tight-knit community of passionate art lovers in October 2021. The community has united on a Discord server, where they have shared their passions for art, music and all things M&M. The first public sale (outside of whitelist) of Mrzyk & Moriceau’s digital art sold out within 18 hours, and has since seen the community hold on to their NFTs, strengthening the project even more.
Since the birth of this ever-growing community, the artists and members have expressed a desire to donate a portion of the funds raised to cancer awareness. The community actively chose Gustave Roussy as the benefactor, with equal donations made to the breast and prostate cancer research divisions.
The donation will be made on 1 March in the amount of 1.5 Ethereum going toward breast cancer research and 1.5 Ethereum going toward prostate cancer research, for a total of 3 Ethereum.
It is with humble hearts that Mrzyk & Moriceau along with the No Falafel Today community offer these donations, and all those behind the project aim to continue providing donations from future NFT releases to impactful organisations, to be decided upon by both artists and art owners.
